IMPORTANT

Please note that there is ongoing roadwork at the intersection of Hawkestone and Molesworth Streets. Please be aware that this construction project may have some impact on traffic and parking in the vicinity of our hotel.

Here are the key details you should know:

1. Intersection Closure: During the construction period, there will be no access at the Molesworth Street intersection. Please plan your routes accordingly following detours in place.
   
2. SH1 Off-Ramp Traffic: If you usually take the SH1 off-ramp, please be aware that traffic will be redirected. Follow the posted detour signs for guidance.
   
3. Access to hotel: the hotel located on Hawkestone Street will still have access to the area throughout the construction period.
   
4. Parking Restrictions: Please note that parking on Hawkestone Street will be subject to restrictions during construction hours.

From Wellington International Airport

Head north on Stewart Duff Drive. At the roundabout, continue straight onto SH1. At the next roundabout, take the first exit, staying on SH1 toward City Centre. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit to stay on SH1. Use the right lane to turn left to continue on SH1. Use the left two lanes to stay slightly right and continue on SH1. Then take the Tinakori exit toward Thorndon. Keep right at the fork, following the signs for Wadestown/Khandallah. Turn right on Tinakori Road. Then, turn right on Hawkestone Street.

Alternately, a taxi from the airport takes approximately 15 minutes.

Parking

Atura Wellington provides limited overnight parking in an open lot and is available for an additional charge of $28 per night, per vehicle (subject to availability). Additional charges will apply after 12 p.m. on day of checkout.

Parking at great daily rates and electric charging are a breeze. Accessible parking available.

EV Charging
EV Charging is available at $15 per vehicle per charge.
