Atura Adelaide Airport has a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. We always strive to utilise the most environmentally friendly products and practices. We aim to bring a positive benefit to the region we operate in through providing high quality services, economic growth, environmental protection, community involvement and employment. We are committed to being a responsible business and EVT’s sustainability goals are available here. Overall the goals of EVT is to reduce our carbon emissions, our goals are; 50% reduction on Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 from a 2023 base year, 25% reduction of Scope 3 emissions by 2030 on a 2023 base year. We are planning to achieve this by increasing use of renewable energy, improving energy efficiency, prioritising suppliers with emissions reduction targets, integrating recycled material into design, reduce waste and increase diversion from landfill, empower our team and customers to take action and improving our data.

At EVENT, we believe in the importance of people and we believe it is important to give back, our STRETCH Workplace Giving program makes it easy to help. Our Workplace Giving program has been ranked in the top 20 programs in Australia and our work was recognised in the 2020 Workplace Giving Awards in the Most Innovative Charity and Employer Partnership category. We also work with and support local operators such as The Hutt Street Centre to provide regular donations such as amenities and personal care items. Atura Adelaide Airport supports our community further by choosing to collaborate with local suppliers, we work with and utilise services provided by local transfer, tour and experience operators.

We also sell local artisan products through our Atura Boutique, which helps to promote small local businesses. We’ve partnered with quintessential South Australian brands Maine Beach – McLaren Vale, Vasse Virgin – Barossa Valley, OrganiQ – Kangaroo Island just to name a few to showcase the very best our state has to offer.
